I traced the writings on the shirts of the marathon participants who ran and passed in front of my camera lens. The placement of each image: a name, a country, or a slogan, is where each marathon runner ran into my frame when I released the shutter button - the temporal existence in my camera. I placed these writings as white objects onto the black background one by one in my video. Each object appears and rests onto the same frame in every 5 seconds. These objects of names and words continue to show in a same speed but viewers’ observation shift because of the numbers of layers of objects presented in the same frame.
